Director Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film Oppenheimer revealed its first photo on Thursday. Along with the photo that shows the character of Cillian Murphy in the middle of a cigarette, Universal also released the long slogan: The world is changing forever.
The film’s plot tells the story of scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer, one of those responsible for creating the original atomic bomb.
The film’s cast is strong. Leading roles include Murphy as Oppenheimer, Emily Blunt as his wife Kitty, Matt Damon as Leslie Groves, Manhattan project supervisor Robert Downey Jr. as Lewis Strauss, the famous chemist and member of the Atomic Energy Commission, and Florence Pugh as Jean Tatlock. Oppenheimer lovers.
In addition to Murphy, the cast also includes Jason Clarke, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Rami Malek, Dane DeHaan, Matthew Modine, Kenneth Branagh, James D’Arcy, Josh Peck, Alex Wolff, David Dastalmachian, Jack Quaid and Michael Angarano.
Oppenheimer is scheduled to hit theaters exclusively on July 21, 2023.
